Entrance – ورودی باغ شاهزاده (Bagh-e Shazdeh باغ شاهزاده)
The entrance of Shazdeh Garden is designed as a two-story gateway building that marks the transition from the dry desert landscape into the lush Persian garden. Built during the late 19th-century Qajar period, the structure features symmetrical proportions, arched openings, and decorative tilework typical of Persian architecture. Positioned at the lower end of the garden’s main axis, the entrance frames a direct view of the central water channel, terraces, and fountains that extend toward the upper pavilion, emphasizing the formal geometric layout and the importance of water and perspective in traditional Persian garden design.
